Dear Bryce,
Greetings in the Name of Christ. Over the past three months, we have had ten mission teams serving in Costa Rica, Nepal, St. Lucia, Estonia, Russia, and Nigeria.  God has blessed us with many amazing opportunities to make a difference for His Kingdom.  Below are three brief summaries so you may be blessed to know how to praise God and pray for His work around the world this fall.
Costa Rica Family Mission Trip 2007

The numbers don't tell the whole story. A total of 48 people went to San Pedro, Costa Rica, in July. Most had never before been on a mission trip. Seventeen families were represented by 21 adults and 27 middle and high school age children. The team conducted Vacation Bible School (VBS) at two separate locations. Each day the number of children that attended grew and grew! We began with 80 children until we shared the Gospel of Jesus with over 275 children the last day!

What a mighty God we serve!
We can't wait for 2008!!

St. Lucia Highlights
Poorest of the Poor

Meeting the elderly shut-ins who receive a plate of food five days a week from the Soufriere Soup Kitchen was one of the most moving experiences of the St. Lucia teams this summer. They are the poorest of the poor, the weakest of the weak, and the most grateful of the thankful.  As we prayed with each of them, their gentleness and thankfulness warmed our hearts. They were so thankful to Mount Pisgah for helping to provide the only warm food they eat.

Please pray for the means to provide food for those on the waiting list to receive food...and for provision for the other two days per week.

Russia Highlights

Can you imagine not being able to read the Bible in English because it had not been translated?  For many people around the world, they are not yet able to read the Bible in their own language.  For several years, we have been providing financial support to translate the Bible for the Komi people in Russia.  We are excited to share that we expect the New Testament to be completed this next year!  Please pray that our Komi brothers and sisters in Christ will soon celebrate that they may read God's Word in their native tongue.

Would you like to learn more about God's ministry around the world?  Each Sunday morning at 11:00am we have a global mission focused Bible study called World Harvesters. Special guest speakers will share what God is doing in specific areas around the world, and we will also celebrate testimonies of how God is using our church family around the world.  Come learn more about the Great Commission that God has given us to be His hands and feet to share the Good News of Jesus with lost people so that we will have many more new friends to join us in Eternity! World Harvesters meets in the Global Center (off the Gathering Area on North Campus).

Blessings in Christ and Christ alone,

Bryce Norton
